Learn about CEB resources available to UC Davis Law Students - January 24th, 12-12:45 p.m.

CEB will be holding a presentation for UC Davis law students on Tuesday, January 24th, from 12-12:45 p.m. in Room 1001. Lunch will be provided. CEB is a non-profit program of the University of California which publishes an extensive library of California practice guides & other practice materials. CEB’s AccessLaw program includes CEB’s library of practice guides as well as how-to guides, strategy notes, charts & checklists, workflows, and annotated sample documents.

Are you using CEB? You should!

Did you know that there is an entire legal research platform created by the University of California? Called CEB (Continuing Education for the Bar), it contains a variety of practice materials for California legal practitioners. You will find materials on California criminal law, estate planning, workers’ compensation, landlord/tenant practice, family law, real property transactions, and civil litigation.

Summer & Post-Grad Access to Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg Law and CEB

Students may use Westlaw for non-commercial research. Examples of permissible usage include the following:

  • Summer coursework
  • Research assistant assignments
  • Law Review or Journal research
  • Moot Court research
  • Non-Profit work
  • Clinical work
