Marissa Martin O’Connor '13 is Associate General Counsel at Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento. Previously, she was an associate attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. As a student, she was Editor in Chief of the UC Davis Law Review.
 

Errol Dauis ’11 is an employment law attorney at Boutin Jones Inc. in Sacramento. He has been honored as a Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Star for Employment and Labor. He has also been an adjunct lecturer at the UC Davis School of Law and president of La Raza Centro Legal’s board of directors. As a student, Errol was Editor in Chief of the UC Davis Law Review.
 

Laura Liswood '74 is the Secretary General and co-founder of the Council of Women World Leaders, an organization of women presidents, prime ministers and heads of government. As director of the Women’s Leadership Project, she interviewed the fifteen then-living current and former women presidents and prime ministers. Those interviews became her book and video documentary, Women World Leaders. She also co-founded The White House Project, dedicated to electing a woman President of the United States. 

The Honorable Gordon S. Baranco ’72 recently retired as a judge for Alameda County Superior Court. He was the founding judge for the Alameda County Homeless and Caring Court.

Richard Rios ’05 is Managing Partner at Olson Hagel & Fishburn LLP, where he specializes in political compliance and election law. He is a former member of the Executive Board of the California Political Attorneys Association. He also has extensive experience as a senior advisor to California state legislators and statewide elected officials and as a field coordinator for legislative campaigns.
 

Judge Lauri Damrell ’05 was appointed to the Sacramento County Superior Court bench in 2017. She was previously a partner at Orrick, where she specialized in employment law, advising Microsoft, Oracle, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America, among others. She chaired the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls and co-chaired the California Pay Equity Task Force. She has also advised and testified before the state Legislature on workplace sexual harassment prevention.
 

Karen Johnson-McKewan '85 is a partner at Orrick in San Francisco. She specializes in litigation and has represented Oracle, NVIDIA, Netflix, Wells Fargo and Levi Strauss & Co. She also devotes her time to pro bono work and to heading The Marine Mammal Center board of directors.
 

Maggy Krell ′03 is Chief Legal Counsel at Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California. Previously, she served as Supervising Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, and prior to that, as a deputy district attorney.  
 

 Garrett C. Dailey ′77 has his own family law practice in Oakland, California, and is also the publisher, CEO and co-founder of Attorney’s Briefcase, Inc. Before coming to King Hall, he was a captain in the United States Air Force. He has received many legal accolades, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the State Bar of California, Family Law Section. 
 

Enrique Fernandez ’16 is the youngest-ever mayor of Woodland, California. He successfully campaigned for Woodland City Council while he was still a student at King Hall. He is also a co-founder of a small Sacramento-area land development company.
