286E Reproductive Rights, Law, and Policy (2)
Seminar - 2 units. Satisfies Advanced Writing Requirement. This course examines a wide range of laws and practices that affect health, decision-making, and social experience. The topics may include abortion, contraception, sterilization, religious restrictions in sectarian hospitals, refusal clauses, assisted reproductive and genetic technology use, sectarian hospital practices, public and private funding restrictions, medical standards, and emerging issues. Completion of the course requires a research paper. Class limit: 15 students.
