Bio

Alix Rogers’ scholarship centers on legal and bioethical issues related to property, torts and legal history. She is particularly focused on the regulation of human biological materials and emerging biotechnologies. She has also researched and published on the intersection of neuroethics and law. Her scholarship has appeared in the Boston College Law Review, Hastings Law Journal, American Journal of Bioethics, and The Journal of Law, Medicine, & Ethics

Rogers spent the past three years as a co-fellow between Stanford Law’s Center for Law and the Biosciences and the Stanford Program in Neuroscience and Society. She holds a J.D. from Yale Law School. Awarded a Gates Scholarship to attend Cambridge University, Professor Rogers holds an M.Phil and is a candidate for a Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of Science from Cambridge.
