Introduced in 2020, the annual Wilson Sonsini 1L Student Diversity Summit brings together law students from around the country for practical workshops, panels, and networking opportunities. The Summit’s mission is to provide concrete advice about the legal industry and make the law firm recruitment process more accessible and transparent for all law students.
The 2024 Summit will be held virtually on Thursday, February 22 & Friday, February 23. Participants should plan to begin programming at 1 pm PT/4 pm ET each day. Additional exclusive events will be in-person throughout the spring. We are welcoming applications until Friday, January 26 at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET. To apply, you will need:
- A brief (500-word) personal statement
- Your resume
- Your first semester/quarter law school transcript - if your transcript is not yet available, we will be in touch in early January with instructions on how to upload it
Applicants will be selected based on demonstrating:
- How you exhibit leadership
- Your law school academic performance
- Your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
