Deadline
Deadline: December 31, 2023
Eligibility

Fenwick is seeking 1L students to join our 2024 Summer Program in our offices in New York, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Washington D.C.  At Fenwick, you will have the opportunity to work closely with leading technology and life sciences companies as they change the world through innovation. Keeping pace with our dynamic clients, we have built a diverse community of professionals and an inclusive culture where talent thrives.

Job Description:

In addition to our regular summer associate salary, there also will be an opportunity to receive up to $50,000 (gross) in scholarship funds that we offer to 1L students who belong to historically underrepresented groups in the legal profession or who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our Scholars will spend a minimum of 8 weeks of the summer following their 1L year working as a Fenwick summer associate. At the end of the summer, each Scholar will be eligible to receive an offer to return the following summer as one of our 2L summer associates (and the opportunity to join us after graduation), contingent upon satisfactory law school grades, work evaluations, and performance feedback.

Please submit a cover letter, current resume, undergraduate transcript, and law school transcript. Applicants must also submit a personal statement of no more than 250 words, elaborating on “Why Fenwick” and illustrating the core elements of their background, life experiences, values, character, and worldview. Applicants will be evaluated holistically on the merits of their application materials and interviews. We will consider applications that are received between December 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023. Applications may be submitted during that period without a current law school transcript but will not be considered complete until that transcript is received. Transcripts may be sent to recruiting@fenwick.com when available.
