Water Justice Clinic Director Pannu joins panel at Mandela Fellowship event

Water Justice Clinic Director Camille Pannu took part in a panel discussion on water justice as part of the Mandela fellows program at UC Davis. Pannu’s co-presenters were Professor Jonathan London, director of UC Davis’ Center for Regional Change, and Amanda Fencl, a Ph.D. candidate in geography.

UC Davis is one of 36 universities in the United States to host the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which assists young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa through academic coursework, leadership training and networking opportunities.

The Water Justice Clinic partners with stakeholders to improve the sustainability of rural water systems; advocate for the inclusion of rural and low-income communities in water management decisions; and ensure that all Californians have access to safe, clean and affordable drinking water.
