UC Panel Calls for Pay Overhaul

John Oakley, a law professor and chair of UC's Academic Senate, was a member of a panel that made 21 recommendations on reform for UC's compensation policies. In the strongly worded document, task force leaders described the public university's current approach to compensation matters as wholly unacceptable. The report cited poor record-keeping, lax oversight, and confusing policies.
