UC Davis Law Students Awarded 2022 Stevens Fellowships

The John Paul Stevens Fellowship Foundation has announced the 2022 Fellows that includes six UC Davis Law students. All of the students are from the UC Davis Law Class of 2023 and will work with various legal organizations:

• Jenny Ballesteros Magdeleno - ACLU of Northern California
• Briana Cravanas -  ACLU of Northern California
• Jailene Gutierrez – Yolo Public Defender’s Office
• Cirrus Jahangiri – Legal Aid at Work
• Stephanie Ray – Orange County Public Defender’s Office
• Jake Stanton – San Diego Office of the Public Defender

Named for the late Supreme Court Justice, the Stevens Fellowships provide grants to enable law students to work in unpaid public interest summer law positions.
