UC Davis Law Faculty Ranks No. 18 in Scholarly Impact

The UC Davis Law faculty finished No. 18 in the latest “scholarly impact rankings” of 
top law faculties in the United States. UC Davis rose four places since 2021, the last time rankings were released.

Determined by Professor Gregory Fisk and colleagues at the University of St. Thomas in a process refined by University of Chicago Professor Brian Leiter, the 2024 rankings are based on number of citations to tenured faculty scholarship in law journals from 2019-2023.

UC Davis Law’s faculty has been recognized widely for its outstanding, prolific scholarship. Articles by King Hall scholars have appeared in recent years in leading law journals including the Harvard, University of Chicago and Columbia law reviews.
