UC Davis-Hosted Moot Court Competition Discussed in Washington Post

The UC Davis School of Law's Asylum and Refugee Law National Moot Court Competition was cited in a Washington Post article focusing on the increased interest among law students in immigration law and policy. The article discussed many factors currently inclining more law students towards careers in immigration law, including globalization and the tragedy of September 11. The UC Davis Moot Court event, which held its inaugural competition in January, is the only one of its kind on the West coast, and the only competition in the country that focuses exclusively on asylum and refugee law.
