Trump Con Law podcast reaches 50th episode, 'Deplatforming and Section 230'
President Donald Trump is out of office, but the What Trump Can Teach Us About Con Law podcast, hosted by Professor Elizabeth Joh and Roman Mars, has reached a milestone with its 50th episode, “Deplatforming and Section 230.”
The episode explores “deplatforming” and Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, in the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection and ex-Trump being banned from social media platforms. Listen to the episode.
Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
