Students from Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic help client gain restraining order

On the first day of classes this semester, students from the UC Davis Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic were back in Yolo Superior Court. 2Ls Jenna Rogenski and Andrew Rambo successfully represented a client in a trial and helped her obtain a 5-year domestic violence restraining order against an abusive ex-partner.

 The Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic provides free civil legal representation to low-income victims of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
