Stevens Symposium Draws CSPAN, Enterprise, Democrat

The 2009 Law Review Symposium, an examination of the career and jurisprudence of Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, drew coverage from the Davis Enterprise and Woodland Democrat and was taped by CSPAN for later broadcast. 

The day-long symposium, held in Wilkins Moot Courtroom on March 6, featured Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Linda Greenhouse, former U.S. government officials, and other legal experts, many of whom had clerked for Stevens, the longest-serving member of the Court. Several King Hall faculty, including Dean Kevin R. Johnson, were in attendance.  Prominent alumni including Rick Frank '74, Elizabeth Semel '75, and Charity Kenyon '77 also were present.

The event was also taped by university technicians and will be made available online through the UC Davis iTunes site.
