S.F. event to launch book by Immigration Law Clinic's J.J. Mulligan Sepúlveda

"No Human is Illegal: An Attorney on the Frontlines of the Immigration War,” the first book from J.J. Mulligan Sepúlveda of the Immigration Law Clinic, will be launched Jan. 24 at a special San Francisco event.

The book launch at the Mechanics’ Institute (57 Post St.) will feature Professor Holly Cooper in conversation with the author, who is a former Immigrant Justice Corps fellow and Fulbright Scholar. The event is co-sponsored by the California Historical Society; tickets are available here.

“No Human is Illegal,” published by Melville House, recounts Mulligan Sepúlveda’s work at border detention centers, in court and at JFK International Airport in defense of immigrants and people affected by President Trump’s travel ban.
