Senior Associate Dean Sunder and Professor Chander Present Paper at UC Irvine Law Review Symposium

Senior Associate Dean Madhavi Sunder and Professor Anupam Chander presented their joint paper comparing the intellectual property provisions of two mega-regional trade agreements, one anchored by the United States, and the other anchored by China. The presentation occurred as part of an October 28, 2016 conference on “Intellectual Property and Human Rights.”

Their presentation examined the intellectual property provisions of the two agreements from a human rights perspective, paying attention to issues such as access to medicines and intermediary liability.

Their paper, “TPP v. RCEP: The Battle to Define Asia’s Intellectual Property Law,” will appear in the UC Irvine Law Review.
