Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour speaks in Oxford University seminar

Senior Associate Dean Afra Afsharipour recently gave a talk at Oxford University’s corporate law seminar related to her scholarship on deal protection in M&A transactions. It included her book chapter, “Corporate Governance in Negotiated Takeovers: The Changing Comparative Landscape in Comparative Corporate Governance” (Afra Afsharipour & Martin Gelter eds., Edward Elgar Publishing, forthcoming 2021).

Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law. Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
