Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour speaks at BYU Winter Deals Conference

On March 7, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour took part in a panel on mergers and acquisitions and private orders at the BYU Law Winter Deals Conference in Park City, Utah.

Presented by BYU Law, the Winter Deals Conference brings together top scholars and practitioners to discuss the modern global economy’s most pressing issues. The event’s keynote speaker was Commissioner Robert Jackson of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
