Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour Presents Research to Corporate Diversity Nonprofit

On Dec. 12, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Afra Afsharipour presented her research on women in mergers and acquisition to members of the nonprofit NxtWork.

NxtWork’s goal is to help companies achieve a minimum diversity threshold of 30% in their boards of directors and executive-level management.

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
