Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour presents paper in Berkeley-Duke workshop

Senior Associate Dean Afra Afsharipour presented a paper on Nov. 6 in a workshop on organizations and social impact co-organized by Berkeley Law and Duke Law.

Afsharipour’s paper, “Corporate Purpose: A Comparative Lens,” is a book chapter in the forthcoming Research Handbook on Corporate Purpose and Personhood (Elizabeth Pollman & Robert Thompson, eds.)

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor Afra Afsharipour’s areas of research include comparative corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law.  Her scholarship has appeared in numerous law reviews, including the Columbia Law Review, the Minnesota Law Review, the Vanderbilt Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review.
