Senator Boxer Names Deans Johnson and Amar to Judicial Advisory Committee

U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer has named Dean Kevin R. Johnson and Associate Dean Vikram Amar to the judicial advisory committee that will make recommendations to the senator regarding positions of U.S. District Court Judge, U.S. Attorney, and U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of California.

Kevin R. Johnson is dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
