Schwartz Profiled for his Philanthropy

Professor of Law Emeritus Mortimer Schwartz was profiled in the Yolo Community Foundation's December newsletter. Schwartz served as UC Davis School of Law librarian from 1965 to 1991. Since retiring, he has been involved in community problem solving. He is a board member and an enthusiastic advocate and supporter of Yolo Community Foundation, which seeks to develop and promote philanthropy in Yolo County by serving as a public foundation through which community members may pursue their own charitable goals.

In the profile, Schwartz is described as an inspiration to his board colleagues because of his enthusiasm, energy, and unfailing "can do" approach.
