Sacramento Bee Article Cites King Hall Graduates' Success
A recent article in the Sacramento Bee analyzing the job market for recent law school graduates notes that UC Davis School of Law alumni are employed at a much higher rate than the state average. Noting that many 2013 law school graduates are still seeking legal employment, the article states that "At UC Davis, the situation is brighter, with an unemployment rate for recent graduates that is less than half the statewide rate."
The article quotes B.J. Susich '06, a partner at Boutin Jones and President of the Sacramento County Bar Association, on the difficulties faced by recent law graduates, and Assistant Dean of Career Services Craig Compton on the reasons for King Hall's success as a top-tier school in continuing to attract outstanding students even during a period when law school applications have fallen.
"The quality of our students has stayed the same throughout this period," said Compton.
