Robert Schaerges '12 Publishes Op-ed in Lake County News

Robert Schaerges '12 has published an op-ed in the Lake County News calling for U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson, whose First District of California includes Schaerges' Lake County home, to endorse California's Proposition 19, which would legalize recreational cannabis use for adults in California.  The op-ed, in the form of an open letter to the congressman, suggests that marijuana cultivation could have economic benefits for Lake County similar to the impact of the wine industry in Napa County.
