Reynoso Film to Be Screened in Washington, D.C.
Cruz Reynoso: Sowing the Seeds of Justice, the film by Abby Ginzberg, will be screened at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C. on October 20. The film presentation is being organized by the American Constitution Society and Hispanic National Bar Foundation.
The film documents the life of UC Davis School of Law Professor Emeritus Cruz Reynoso. Reynoso, the son of farm workers, became the first Latino to be appointed to the California Supreme Court. UC Davis School of Law screened the film at Sacramento's historic Crest Theatre in April.
