Renmin University Press releases collection of Professor Imwinkelried's work

On several occasions during the past decade, Professor Emeritus Ed Imwinkelried has lectured at China University of Political Science and Law and Renmin University in Beijing on topics related to evidence law, especially expert testimony.

In May, Renmin University Press released Edward J. Imwinkelried, Scientific Evidence (2020). The text excerpts eight of Imwinkelried's most important law-review articles on scientific evidence. The text also contains a commentary by Imwinkelried on the topics of the various articles. The text is intended for use by Chinese judges, attorneys, scholars and law students who are interested in using a comparative law perspective in their efforts to modernize Chinese evidence law, in particular the treatment of scientific testimony. All the excerpts and commentary have been translated into Chinese.

Professor Imwinkelried is a world-renowned evidence expert who has published extensively in the field.
