Recurring Gifts: The Easy Way to Support King Hall

Many King Hall alumni want to support the School of Law, but wonder whether the amount they can give would have a significant impact.  But all gifts make a major difference for today's students, especially when alumni make use of the School of Law's Recurring Gifts system.

Making a recurring gift is simple. You may choose between supporting specific priorities such as student support, clinics, and student activities, or you may make a gift to the King Hall Annual Fund to support the most immediate needs at King Hall, including scholarships and student organizations. Click on any of the listed priorities, then follow the link to "Donate to this fund," and you will find a form that will enable you to either give immediately, make a recurring gift each month, or both.

One alumna who has taken advantage of this simple way to give is Tina Cannon Leahy '98. Leahy, who since graduation has practiced environmental law in various capacities, is a frequent volunteer at King Hall.  She serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Environmental Law & Policy (CELPC), has helped to organize events such as the King Hall Environmental Law Students/Environmental Law Alumni mixers, and participated in an Environmental Law Society Career Week panel. She recently made immediate gifts to support CELPC and the King Hall Annual Fund, and also set up monthly gifts to each priority.

"My conscience is clear!" said Leahy.  "I've finally set up my recurring gift, and I'm very excited because this will allow me to almost triple my giving and do it in a painless way."
