Record Breaking $2.28 Million Given to Davis School of Law Over Past Year!
A record breaking total of $2.28 million was given to King Hall this past year! The King Hall Annual Fund and Graduating Class Gift program also broke records in 2005-2006. The Annual Fund increased 40% from 2004-2005 and the 2006 Graduating Class Gift raised over $12,000 from 101 class members participating (52%). Additionally, 100% of our Alumni Association Board of Directors and 100% of our faculty made gifts to the School of Law this fiscal year.
These donations reflect the commitment to public service and philanthropy that distinguish UC Davis School of Law from other law schools. This spirit of philanthropy found among our entire King Hall community makes it possible for UC Davis School of Law to remain a leader in offering an outstanding legal education to an excellent and diverse student body in a cooperative and supportive atmosphere.
Private philanthropy in support of our endowments, scholarships, and the Building Campaign builds King Halls future, providing critical funds to attract and retain the best faculty and support their cutting-edge legal scholarship; to recruit and reward the best students with competitive scholarships; and to create a physical embodiment of our commitment to excellence, leadership, and community.
Our school also depends on robust Annual Fund donations year-in and year-out to provide critical support necessary to enhance our current program and expand the educational opportunities available to our students.
We hope all alums and friends will give to UC Davis School of Law in 2006-2007. With your help, we can achieve our vision to be the best, small public law school in the nation, recognized among the top 25 of all law schools nationwide.
