Pruitt Speaks on Women and Rural Poverty
Professor Lisa Pruitt will speak with Don Villarejo, founder and director emeritus of the California Institute of Rural Studies, on Gender, Race, and Poverty in a Globalized World. Their talk will focus on how the law fails poor rural women and the health status of Mexican immigrant women farm workers.
