Pruitt Comments on Overconsumption-water Death
Lisa Pruitt, a law professor at UC Davis, commented for a Sacramento Bee column on the death of a woman due to overconsumption of water. The wrongful-death case stems from a woman responding to a live radio-show contest in which the object was to drink as much water as possible to win a Nintendo.
Pruitt has special interests in feminist legal theory, law and rural livelihoods, torts, and the legal profession. Her recent scholarship includes articles in the Connecticut Law Review and the Utah Law Review.
