Prop 1D Highlighted in Local Media
A series of recent articles and editorials in local newspapers highlight the impact of Proposition 1D, a bond measure that if passed on November 7, includes funding for the renovation and expansion of the UC Davis School of Law building, King Hall.
On November 2, The Davis Enterprise ran a front-page article on Prop. 1D, pointing out that the law school enrollment has nearly doubled in the past four decades while the building has remained much the same since its completion in 1968. In an editorial on November 3, the Enterprise editors expressed the position that proposition ID funds are critical to ensure adequate, safe, and modern facilities for students at all educational levels. The Sacramento Bee also publicly endorsed the measure.
In The California Aggie, the UC Davis student newspaper, a front-page story highlights Prop. 1D and the benefits to the School of Law.
