Profs. Afrsharipour, Chander, Lee, Sunder Participate in WLTC/CAPALF Conference

UC Davis School of Law Professors Afra Afsharipour, Anupam Chander, and Peter Lee presented papers at the Joint Conference of the Western Law Teachers of Color (WLTC) and Conference of Asian Pacific American Law Faculty (CAPALF), held on December 12, 2010 at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law.  Professor Madhavi Sunder also participated in the conference, speaking on the plenary panel discussing teaching, scholarship and service, and participating in the patent law works in progress session. 

Professor Afsharipour presented her paper entitled "Corporations as Trustees of the Nation? India's Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility Reform Efforts."  Professor Chander presented "Eastern Terminus: Bangalore," a chapter from his forthcoming book, The Electronic Silk Road, and commented on a paper by John Tehranian.  Professor Lee presented "Transcending the Tacit Dimension: Markets, Relationships, and Organizations in Technology Transfer," with Professor Sunder serving as one of the commentators.
