Professors Afsharipour, Joo Speak at AALS Mid-Year Meeting
Professors Afra Afsharipour and Thomas Joo spoke at the Association of American Law Schools Mid-Year Meeting in Long Beach last week.
Professor Afsharipour participated in the event's Conference on Business Associations and the Transactional Law workshop. She gave presentations entitled "Paying to Break Up: The Rise of Reverse Termination Fee Provisions" and "Rising Multinationals: Exploring Outbound Acquisitions by Indian Corporations."
Also at the Mid-Year Meeting was Professor Joo, who moderated a panel on "Trends in Business Associations Scholarship."
