Professor West Delivers Keynote for Women’s History Month
Professor Emerita Martha S. West delivered the keynote speech for the Yolo County Women’s History Month luncheon on March 8, International Women’s Day. The theme was “NEVERTHELESS SHE PERSISTED: Honoring women who fight all forms of discrimination against women.”
The Woodland Daily Democrat covered the event, which drew a crowd of almost 300 people.
Martha S. West is Professor of Law Emerita, having taught employment discrimination, labor law, and gender and law at UC Davis Law School for 25 years from 1982 to 2007. Her scholarship focused on discrimination against women faculty at research universities, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, and education law.
