Professor Villazor Speaks at Brigham Young University School of Law
Professor Rose Cuison Villazor presented a paper, "The 1965 Immigration Act: Promoting and Hindering Family Unification," at Brigham Young University School of Law on September 12, 2014. This paper will be a chapter in a forthcoming book on the 50th anniversary of the 1965 Hart-Celler Act, which Professor Villazor is co-editing with Professor Jack Chin and which will be published by Cambridge University Press.
Professor Rose Cuison Villazor joined the UC Davis faculty in 2012 from the Maurice A. Deane Law School at Hofstra University. She has also taught at Columbia Law School and the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Professor Villazor teaches and writes in the areas of property law, immigration law, race, and citizenship.
