Professor Simmons Speaks at Montana Tax Institute
Professor Daniel L. Simmons presented a program on "Built-In Gain or Loss Property and Partnership Formation" at the 56th Annual University of Montana School of Law Tax Institute on October 28. The Montana Tax Institute is one of the oldest in the country, attracting more than 200 tax practitioners from around the country. The 2008 program featured notable tax academics including Martin Burke of the University of Montana, Sam Donaldson of the University of Washington, Elaine Gagliardi of the University of Montana, Martin McMahon of the University of Florida, and Larry Zelenak, of Duke University.
Daniel L. Simmons is a UC Davis Professor of Law and a national expert on tax law, with an emphasis on corporate and partnership taxation.
