Professor Shestowsky to Receive AALS Litigation Section Scholar Award
The Association of American Law Schools’ Section on Litigation will honor Professor Donna Shestowsky with its scholar award. Shestowsky will receive the award in January at the AALS Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
Shestowsky serves as chair of the AALS Section on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Donna Shestowsky, who has both a law degree and a Ph.D. in psychology, is director of the Lawyering Skills Education Program and Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law. She teaches Criminal Law, Negotiation Strategy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a seminar in Legal Psychology. She was the 2007 recipient of the Law School's Distinguished Teaching Award.
