Professor Shestowsky Delivers Keynote Address at Santa Clara – Stanford Law Dispute Resolution Workshop

Professor Donna Shestowsky presented the keynote address “When Ignorance Is Not Bliss: An Empirical Study of Litigants’ Awareness of Court-Sponsored ADR” at the Santa Clara – Stanford Law Dispute Resolution Workshop at Stanford Law School on March 6. Shestowsky described the findings of her multi-court study concerning how well informed litigants are about courts’ dispute resolution programs.

Donna Shestowsky, who has both a law degree and a PhD in Psychology, is a Professor of Law and  Martin Luther King, Jr. Research Scholar at UC Davis School of Law, where she teaches Negotiation Strategy, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and a seminar in Legal Psychology.
