Professor Darien Shanske spoke to Law360 for a June 27 story about a measure in California’s new budget tax law that could save California more than $1 billion by preventing companies from victories like the one Microsoft scored with the Office of Tax Appeals regarding its sales factor denomination.
Shanske said the measure could be “helpful,” but that the Microsoft decision should be reversed.
