Professor Shanske Speaks on Tax Law at University of Toronto

Professor Darien Shanske spoke at the University of Toronto School of Law on March 18 as part of the James Hausman Tax Law & Policy Workshop.  His talk was entitled "Local Democracy and Financial Knowledge:  The Case for a Local Government Finance Commission."

Darien Shanske is a Professor of Law at UC Davis. His academic interests include taxation, particularly state and local taxation, local government law, public finance, and political theory, particularly jurisprudence.
