Professor Shanske Speaks at American Law Institute Conference

Professor Darien Shanske spoke at the American Law Institute Young Scholars Medal Conference at New York University School of Law in New York City on April 13.  The theme of the conference was "Can Law Solve the Public Pension Problem?"  Professor Shanske participated in a panel on "Exploring Funding Enforcement."

Darien Shanske is a Professor of Law at UC Davis. His academic interests include taxation, particularly state and local taxation, local government law, public finance, and political theory, particularly jurisprudence.
