Professor Saucedo, student Meena Visvanathan to speak at "Debunking Deportation Myths" conference

“Debunking Deportation Myths,” a conference and round-table discussion March 5 on the UC Davis campus, will include Professor Leticia Saucedo and School of Law student Meena Visvanathan ’19 among the panelists.

Organized by the Migration Research Cluster, the conference will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Student Community Center. Registration closes at noon Feb. 26.

Visvanathan and Professor Saucedo both will participate in the 1-3 p.m. round-table session: “‘Humanizing’ Narratives and the Legal Reality of Deportations.”

Professor Saucedo is a Professor of Law at King Hall and an expert in employment, labor and immigration law.
