Professor Sandino Gives Introductory Lecture for Delta Leadership Program

On Jan. 10, Professor David Sandino gave the introductory lecture for the 2025 Delta Leadership Program about the legal and policy issues associated with understanding the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

The Delta Leadership Program is organized by the Delta Protection Commission and the Delta Foundation to educate Delta citizens about water issues, promote leadership  and form networks. 

Sandino presented before 20 leaders in the program, including community organizers and government officials. He addressed hydrology, history, policy and governance.

David Sandino is the director of UC Davis Law’s Aoki Water Justice Clinic: Small Farmer Assistance Program.
