Professor Pruitt Speaks at International Constitutionalism Conference
Professor Lisa R. Priutt spoke on "Equality guarantees across the rural-urban axis" at the International Conference on Feminist Constitutionalism at Queen's University held in Kingston, Canada February 28-March 1. Professor Pruitt joined several distinguished speakers including Professor Catherine MacKinnon of University of Michigan Law School, Professor Reva Siegel of Yale Law School (who also spoke at King Hall in the 2009 Brigitte M. Bodenheimer Lecture on Family Law on February 26), and Professor Jennifer Nedelsky, University of Toronto Law School in examining current debates in the intersection between constitutional law, constitutionalism, and feminist theory.
Lisa R. Pruitt is a Professor at the UC Davis School of Law whose recent scholarship explores the legal relevance of rurality in both domestic and international contexts.
