Professor Polcz Writes Op-Ed for Time Magazine

Professor Sarah Polcz co-wrote an op-ed published Aug. 12 in Time magazine.

Headlined “An AI Tax Could Be the Great Equalizer America Needs,” the piece by Polcz and George Washington University Law School Professor Jeremy Bearer-Friend discusses Sen. Bernie Sanders’ American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act.  

The professors argue that Sanders’ bill, which was inspired by their article, is superior to competing plan Open AI’s Sam Altman reportedly introduced to President Donald Trump’s administration.
