Professor Miazad Talks to N.Y. Times About SEC Rules on Climate Risk Disclosures
Professor Amelia Miazad spoke to the New York Times for a March 6 story on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s approval of rules for companies to reveal climate risks. The rules were far less strict than first proposed, the Times reports.
Professor Amelia Miazad is an expert on the nexus between corporate law and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. Professor Miazad’s work has been published in the Vanderbilt Law Review, Minnesota Law Review and UC Davis Law Review, among other leading publications. Before coming to Davis, Professor Miazad was a Senior Research Fellow at UC Berkeley School of Law. At Berkeley Law, she founded and led the Business in Society Institute.
