Professor Lin Comments on Auto Industry Bailout for Greenwire
Professor Al Lin commented in a recent article in Greenwire magazine concerning the ways in which a federal bailout of the U.S. auto industry could impact auto emission standards. Professor Lin observes that post-election politics could incline states to support higher emission standards, which could mean that auto companies may need to accept tougher emission standards as a precondition for federal aid. "They're going to have to take their money any way they can get it," said Lin.
Al Lin is a professor in the UC Davis School of Law with special interests in environmental law, natural resources law, and evidence.
