Professor Lee presents work at Santa Clara 'Antitrust and Silicon Valley' conference

Professor Peter Lee recently presented a work-in-progress at a conference on “Antitrust and Silicon Valley: New Themes and Direction in Competition Law and Policy” at Santa Clara University School of Law. Professor Lee’s paper, “Retheorizing the Impact of Intellectual Property Rights on Industry Structure,” examines how intellectual property rights promote both fragmentation and concentration in the biopharmaceutical, agricultural biotechnology and software industries. Professor Lee’s article is forthcoming the Vanderbilt Law Review.

Peter Lee teaches and writes in the areas of innovation, intellectual property, and technology transfer. Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress, university-industry technology transfer, and the structural determinants of innovative industries.
