Professor Lee presents work-in-progress at Loyola Law School

On March 11, Professor Peter Lee presented a work-in-progress at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles as part of the Loyola IP Speaker Series.

Lee presented his article “Retheorizing the Impact of Intellectual Property Rights on Industry Structure,” which will appear in the Vanderbilt Law Review. The article argues that exclusive rights promote both industry fragmentation and concentration at various times and in various locations in the value chain in IP-intensive industries.

Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
