Professor Lee Presents Paper at NYU School of Law
Professor Peter Lee recently participated in a workshop at New York University School of Law on Medical User Innovation and Medical Knowledge Commons. At the workshop, Professor Lee presented a paper entitled "Centralization, Fragmentation, and Replication in the Genomic Data Commons." The paper examines various modes of controlling and modifying genomic data arising from the Human Genome Project and related research initiatives. Professor Lee also served as a discussant on two other papers by workshop participants.
Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
